Daughter of a Mississippi sharecropper . . . (wait wrong story) . . .
Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Erica Nicole’s roots are firmly planted in the South. She loves and makes a mean batch of collard greens, cornbread and black-eyed peas like nobody’s business. She was raised in Washington state, but found her way back to Texas for college—she received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University. While at TWU, Erica became a sister of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Next, Erica was off to New York City to pursue a career in Theatre. She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, focusing on musical theatre. She landed her first show, Ain’t Misbehavin’ before graduating. Upon graduation, she’s had numerous shows, some of her favorites include Disney’s Hercules, FAME, Tintypes, and Avenue Q.
Erica, has also sung background for various artists and recorded her own music. She can most recently be seen in the Donnie Wahlberg short film “Tony’s Dream”.
Erica loves traveling and being on the road! She has visited 39 of the 50 states, Cozumel, Mexico, Toronto, Canada, and various countries in the Caribbean. She hopes to vacation in Europe and Africa next.
Erica is eagerly anticipating the journey ahead as she has recently relocated to Los Angeles to pursue the next phase of her career which is more film & television as well as recording both music & voiceover.
